昭和17年8月の竣工時の姿を忠実にモデル化。
舷側の装甲帯など細部も精密に再現しました。
さらに後部のボート格納庫の側面は別パーツとし立体感を高めます。
そして見どころは世界最強といわれる兵装類。
各砲身を別パーツとした3連装46cm主砲塔は、基部の防水布までシャープに再現。
さらに15.5cm副砲や12.7cm高角砲がその強力な攻撃力を伝えます。
測距儀や方位探知機なども立体感あふれる仕上がり。
主砲塔や副砲塔、測距儀はポリキャップを使用し回転できます。
